DeKalb County Sheriff continues new gun bill classes | Community Spirit
DeKalb County Sheriff Jimmy Harris said there was a great turnout in Ider for the New Gun Bill Class and noted that this program will continue.
Commander Wade Hill presented to a crowd of over sixty people, and the sheriff and Mike O’Dell answered questions afterwards. Weather radios were also given away as door prizes.
The sheriff’s office will hold more classes, including one in the Geraldine High School lunchroom on Sept. 12 at 6 p.m. and one in Dogtown on Sept. 19.
The sheriff’s office said they will continue this program as long as the public wants this information. Anyone who would like a class in their community should call (256) 304-0469.
