Trial date set in murder stemming from chicken dispute | Crime

A trial date is set for a man accused of killing a DeKalb County man after an argument over stolen chickens.

DeKalb County Sheriff's Investigators arrested  Wayne Thomas McMinn in July of 2010. He's accused of killing Rickey R. McCallie at a home on County Road 188 in the Dogtown community.

McMinn is also a registered sex offender. He was convicted of Sodomy in 2004.

McMinn will go to trial for murder on March 11, 2013 at the DeKalb County Courthouse in Fort Payne.
