Marijuana seized in Boaz bust | Crime

DeKalb County investigators have arrested and charged a 53 year old man with drug possession, after a pound of marijuana was found in his home.

Timothy Etherton was taken into custody on Thursday at a home on County Road 381 in Boaz.

Sheriff Jimmy Harris says in addition to the drugs, paraphernalia and scales were found. Harris says the raid came after tips from community members.

Etherton is awaiting bond in the DeKalb County Jail.
