TVA directors meeting in north Alabama | News
RAINSVILLE, AL (AP)- Tennessee Valley Authority board members are gathering in northeast Alabama for Tom Kilgore's final meeting as chief executive.
TVA directors meet Thursday morning at Northeast Alabama Community College in Rainsville.
Kilgore is an Alabama native who will step down after six years as head of the federal utility. He is retiring.
Kilgord is being replaced
by Bill Johnson, who was removed as CEO after Progress Energy and Duke
Energy combined earlier this year in North Carolina.
