College football forecasts - week 10

It's week 10 of college football.  Looks like another great week of games.  And a pretty nice Saturday weather-wise for the games of local interest.  

Alabama has the marquee matchup, travelling to Baton Rouge to take on LSU in a night game in Death Valley.  The winner of this one is in the driver's seat to win the West and get a slot in the SEC Championship Game.  It will be the 3rd time the Tide and Tigers have met in the last 12 months.

Archery class planned at DeSoto State Park

Archery class planned at DeSoto State Park

Adults and children are invited to attend an archery class at DeSoto State Park on November 10.

The class will be taught by Stuart Golds with the Alabama Department of Wildlife and Fishery. This class is open to beginners and those with previous experience.

The children's class is from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. The adult class is from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. A family class is from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m.

The classes are free, but pre-registration is required. You can sign up by calling 256-997-5025 or by e-mail. Equipment will be provided.
