DeKalb County deputies teamed up with Crossville and Geraldine Police officers to raid a home on County road 305 in the Rodentown community.

The agencies were there to serve a probation violation warrant and look into a report of a stolen vehicle. They were also checking out claims that there was a lot of traffic at the home at odd hours, indicating possible drug activity.

Upon searching the home, officers found more than 10 grams of ice meth, marijuana, a stolen shotgun and $2,400 in cash.

Heather Dowdy, Brian Maloy and Natasha Abbott were arrested at the scene. Dowdy and Abbott are charged with drug possession. Maloy is charged with drug possession and receiving stolen property.

“It’s great anytime you are able to get illegal substances off the street.  It’s a full time job to combat.  We are really glad to make these arrests.  The investigation is ongoing, and hopefully we will be putting more bad people in jail,” said Crossville Assistant Police Chief Jack Clayton.
